Once therapy is ready to start, the initial session or orientation takes place with your child and all the therapists working with your child. This can be spread over a 2-3 day period depending on your child’s hours of service and areas of need. The orientation helps us test programming and determine behaviour protocols needed to reduce/manage interfering behaviours. Once programming is determined, IBI then commences in the home. The Senior Therapist starts the first session in the home and trains all staff working with your child specific to your child’s individualized programming and any protocols in place. This ensures quality control and consistency across all working with your child.
